Native from the region of Outaouais, Québec, Bruno Jacques Pelletier studied classical guitar, with renowned guitarists such as, Emmanuel Despax, Robert Latreille, Patrick Roux, as well as internationally acclaimed guitarists Pepe Romero, Fabio Zanon, Sergio Assad, at the Academie du Domaine Forget (Qc, Canada).

It is while attending a program, at the Toronto Conservatory that, Bruno Jacques Pelletier took a fancy for Spanish music. He furthers his training with Robert Latreille, classical guitarist and mentor, while producing his album "Le Romantisme Espagnol".

From beginning to end, his album will charm you to musical themes that, labeled this instrument through history (baroque, classical, romantic, modern and contemporary).

A great waltz, some tangos, love-songs and traditional Spanish lullabies make up this album that, he hopes will delight you.

Living in the beautiful region of the Upper St-John Valley, located in Northern New Brunswick, Bruno Jacques Pelletier devotes his time to teaching classical guitar and, regularly performs during special concert events. His performance for French country leaders (France, Belgium and Africa) at the Sommet International de la Francophonie was note-worthy.

You can frequently listen to his music on air at Radio Canada, Radio Classique Montreal and CBC’s Continuous Music Network Galaxie.

In August 2006, his album "Le Romantisme Espagnol" escalated No. 1 of the Top 10 charts on the station of CBC’s Continuous Music Network Galaxie.

Very devoted to his region, in 2004, he co-produced with a New Brunswick choral "Le Coeur du Berceau", a fundraiser album for the Edmundston Regional Hospital Foundation. All profits of this album were entirely donated to the foundation. This disk includes a variety of guitar solos, duos, holy songs, classical, traditional, gospel and negro-spiritual themes.

In September 2004, the NFB (National Film Board of Canada) commissions Bruno Jacques Pelletier, to compose the sound-track for a documentary, produced by Rodolphe Caron. Critically acclaimed, this documentary relates the life of Léonard Forest, a pioneer in Canadian francophone cinematography.

At the moment, Bruno Jacques Pelletier is committed to the production of his 2nd album, dedicated to ancient and baroque music. Moreover, Bach, Devisée, Scarlatti, and Weiss are on his curriculum. For the meantime, we hope the album "Le Romantisme Espagnol" will delight you.
